We’re looking for a Sustainability Talent Hunter to build relationships with clients and candidates and deliver recruitment and development solutions to them. We need a talented new team member to help us to drive forward our recruitment and development activities in the sustainability sector. We provide bespoke recruitment, development and employment services for our clients. We are looking for a Sustainability Talent Hunter who can confidently build relationships with clients, understand their requirements and help them to find, recruit and develop good people.
• A confident, enthusiastic and engaging communicator
• Educated to degree-level – highly literate, numerate and articulate
• Passionate about sustainability issues
• Able to demonstrate strong skills in organisation, prioritisation and meeting deadlines
• Highly-motivated, with a track record of “can-do”
• Commercially-aware, with relevant/transferable experience
• Experienced in building and managing relationships with clients or customers
• Aware of the need to handle personal data securely and appropriately
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and social media management
In an ideal world, you are also:
• Experienced in website content management
• Experienced in using CRM systems
• Creative with an eye for design

Day in the Life:
9am Huddle – team catch-up over coffee to review progress on recruitment activity, new business ideas and opportunities, share sustainability news, updates from conferences and exhibitions.
9.30am Review CVs and shortlist applications for a graduate role in Environmental Strategy
11.00am Development call with a recently-appointed Change Agent. Talk through settling in period, progress, issues and opportunities. Signpost learning and development ideas.
12pm Finalise plans for tomorrow’s face-to-face interviews at a client’s premises in Birmingham. Ensure you have all interview packs, contact details and re-read CVs and telephone interview notes.
1pm Lunch – try one of Oakham’s fine coffee shops or delis!
2pm Make client calls to catch up on forthcoming people and project requirements and see what support they might need.
2.30pm 1:1 with line manager – monthly session to review progress, share thoughts on personal development opportunities and talk through any issues.
3.30pm Conduct telephone interviews for shortlisted early careerists who have applied for a new role working on a Circular Economy project.
5.15pm Read renewables article in the industry press
5.30pm Time to go home after an amazing day’s work!
Nitty Gritty Details:
Hours/Week: Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Work outside normal hours: Some travel in the UK may necessitate occasional working outside normal office hours
