At Melton Borough Council, we are looking for a Planning Technician to work with a variety of our teams including support work for the Council’s ambitious Local Plan. We need a Planning Technician (GIS and Local Plan) who can assist in the delivery of the Council’s Strategic Planning and Regulatory Services, with particular responsibility for the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) databases and research intelligence that underpin these service areas. You will also give support to the Local Planning team who are responsible for the delivery of the Council’s ambitious Local Plan.

Nitty Gritty Details:
Hours/Week: 37 hours (5 days)
Annual leave: 22 days (rising to 27 after 5 years service), plus bank holidays and an additional 3 days off over the Christmas period.
Work outside normal hours: Some out of hours work may be required (overtime paid after 6pm)
